Free Mum Hugs Perth & WA Free Mum Hugs, Building a better world one hug at a time. Offering informal support to all in the LG

Free Mum Hugs Perth & WA acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land and waters where we live and work. I pay my respects to them and their culture, to their Elders both past and present and to their strength and resilience and connection to land, waters and community. I extend this to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people seeing this message.

"OK,.. I think I have thought of a way to explain it that everyone will understand:

"Biological S*X is HARDWARE.....and GENDER is SOFTWARE.

"Some people are born with Hardware and Software that DO NOT MATCH.

"The Software CANNOT be changed. You cannot edit it, you cannot overwrite it, you cannot even reboot it. It is permanent.

"But you CAN change the hardware with things like surgery and hormone replacement.

"Trans people are just asking to be allowed to upgrade their hardware components to match their operating system."
