G.D.E Mental Health Club members and staff participated in the Mental Health 1K walk they was held in Liberia on October 1st.

Global developmental empowerment organisation also aim towards helping the sector of mental health in Liberia . We have been developing a mental health club that will spread out to various schools and individuals.

The Ministry of Health and partners invite the general public to participate in a 1k Walk on October 1, 2022 in commemoration of World Mental Health month celebration activities.

Every year, October is globally celebrated as world Mental Health month with series of activities geared toward raising awareness on Mental Health. This year, the Ministry of Health and partners will begin a series of awareness activities with a National 1k Walk to raise awareness on mental health and wellbeing.

Also, in an effort to increasing national and global awareness on Mental Health, the Ministry of Health and partners are raising awareness through a Wayawaya Dance challenge. The Wayawaya Dance challenge is being used as a social media global campaign for mental health. Individuals, institutions and groups are encouraged to do a short video with Master KG wayawaya sound track and post online with the following hashtags :
