This week’s Happy to Help randomly chosen recipients are a reminder that unexpected expenses and the rising cost of everyday essentials can quickly add pressure to people in our community. 💛
• One recipient reached out after being left with unexpected costs when a housemate moved out, leaving them to manage the clean-up and expenses on their own. Already feeling a little overwhelmed by the situation, a $250 grocery voucher will help ease some of that financial pressure and make putting food on the table a little easier this week.
• Another recipient is a pensioner who is currently caring for three dogs, including two belonging to a family member. With finances stretched, they've shared that they sometimes go without themselves to make sure everyone, including their furry companions, is fed. Thanks to NutriMate Pet Foods, they'll receive 1 month worth of dog food, helping take one expense off their plate. 🐾
