50th anniversary Friuli Earthquake - 1976-2026.

Today the Fogolar had the great honour to show the 1976 Friuli Earthquake documentary "Earthquake: an Italian tragedy " by journalists Terry Spence, one of our members and Carmello Musca. This is a very important and historic event as the Perth Channel Nine News Team were one of the first International News Teams covering the disaster outside Rai television.
We remembered the nearly 1000 people who lost their lives and we had the opportunity to go back in time and see the dignity and the resilience of the friulani whose motto was "Fasin di besoi" (we do it ourselves).
A very big thank you to Terry and Carmelo for the amazing presentation and also to all the members and non-members who participate to this event.

IL FRIULI RINGRAZIA E NON DIMENTICA.

𝐄𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞 𝟓𝟎 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢 𝐟𝐚 - 𝟔 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐨 𝟏𝟗𝟕𝟔 𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝟐𝟏.𝟎𝟎
