A privilege to spend time on Palyku Country (Oct 6-9)
The Palyku country delivered an unforgettable Connection to Country experience! From the stunning aerial views captured over Corunna Downs Station and Nullagine to cooling down in the tranquil waters of the Nullagine Dam, this trip was grounding and inspiring.
See the incredible places we visited: Bamboo Springs Station Ruins, Bonney Downs Station and Corunna Downs Station. Our deepest thanks go to Palyku Knowledge Holder and Elder, Fred Stream, who enriched the trip by sharing his incredible stories and valuable information. His knowledge was truly the highlight of our cultural connection.
But the connection didn't stop at the scenery! The children had fun at the Community Centre disco, dancing with glow sticks, and we came together on the final morning for an art activity to capture our favourite memories of this special trip.
