After what was a weird, wild, and unforgettable weekend, SYG 2026 will definitely be one for the memories.

A huge thank you to all our Church Coordinators for the countless hours spent building teams, organising registrations, and caring for people. Thank you to our volunteers who served so sacrificially throughout the weekend, often behind the scenes, and thank you to every participant who showed up, got involved, and made the event what it is. You are the reason we do this.

Despite the weather doing its best to keep us on our toes, the spirit of SYG was on full display. There was competition, community, laughter, resilience, and plenty of stories that will be retold for years to come.

This year also brought a little déjà vu. North Coast have once again taken out the Overall Championship, making it an incredible five consecutive overall titles. At this point, we might have to start talking about a dynasty!

Meanwhile, Hills have once again claimed the Compassion Cup. This is a separate competion from the overall comp. It is based on how many points you score per person you bring down. So, well done Hills for taking out this again.

Congratulations to both teams, and thank you to every church, volunteer, participant, venue, sponsor, and supporter who helped make SYG 2026 possible.

Remember we are in this thing for The Long Game. See you all in 2027.
