Couldn't think of a better way to cap off the Riverton Primary Dads Group's year of events than with the 2025 Dads & Kids Camp Out.
Our signature event, now in its 5th year, proved to be the biggest and most successful yet, with more games and more entertainment, and loads of fun for all.
We had music 🎶 playing throughout the day, with plenty of ball sports and games on offer including soccer ⚽, volleyball 🏐, footy 🏉, cricket 🏏, basketball 🏀, netball, bubble play 🫧, frisbees 🥏, and hoola hoops. The kids also made very good use of the nature playground and playing with their friends.
We were joined by Mini's Soft Serve who served up some delicious treats🍦🍧 and our special guests Dodgy Bros Dodgeball Co. who kept the kids (big and small) enthralled in a fun game of dodgeball.
As night time fell, the fun continued with dinner, a movie at our pop up outdoor cinema 🎥, an awesome lighting display 🌟 that illuminated the tree canopies above, glow sticks, torch games 🔦 and even some night time Dads v kids soccer.
Sunrise brought out the early risers to the smell of a sausage sizzle 🌭 breakfast cooked by two of our dads, John and Cruz, and coffee ☕ courtesy of A Place of Space Perth coffee van.
Huge thanks to our event supporters, the Riverton Primary Campus, Riverton Primary School P&C, our vendors and volunteers.
Special thanks to Shivas Lindsay, our Camp Out event leader of the past 5 years, who does everything he can to ensure these events are a success. Shivas made sure to end his tenure as one of our Dads group leaders on a high. Congrats and thanks Shivas.
