Mundy’s first parkrun in 2019 evoked the comment, “There should be an “I survived Mundy Regional Parkrun” certificate or T-shirt!”

We don’t have a survival certificate or T-shirt, but this Saturday, 20 June 2026, at Mundy event #300, we are launching THE BOOK “I survived Mundy Regional Parkrun”.

All you legends who have volunteered or run at Mundy regularly, come and admire the photographic record of your achievements over the last six years. 

See you a bit before 8am on Saturday!!

Everyone had a ball at Mundy this morning

This week 49 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 20 were first timers and 9 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 4 different clubs took part.

The event was made possible by 9 volunteers:

Jaco VAN STADEN • Jackson RENDALL • Sharnie GATER • Emma TAYLOR • Robert COX • Colin BANNER • Dave ABELEIRA • Andrew NUGTEREN • Martin STANLEY

Mundy Regional parkrun started on 23rd November 2019. Since then 3,226 participants have completed 9,320 parkruns covering a total distance of 46,600 km, including 1,349 new Personal Bests. A total of 400 individuals have volunteered 2,379 times.
