FUEL SUPPORT PAYMENT

To claim your one-off $100 Fuel Support Payment, you can apply online via the ServiceWA app. Applications close on December 31, 2026.

Who is Eligible?Valid Licence Holders: Anyone with a current, non-expired Western Australian driver’s licence, learner’s permit, provisional (P-plate), or extraordinary licence.

Exclusions: People with cancelled, suspended, or expired driver's licences are not eligible.

Requirements: You must have a valid WA residential address and an Australian bank account.

How to Apply

The fastest way to receive your payment (within 5–7 business days) is using the ServiceWA app.

Set up Digital ID: Download the myID app and verify your identity using at least two documents (e.g., driver's licence, Medicare card).

Download ServiceWA: Get the ServiceWA app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Claim: Log into ServiceWA using your myID. Head to the Discovery tab, tap Offers, and select Fuel Support Payment.

Alternative Claim OptionsIf you are unable or do not wish to use the app, an online webform and paper application forms are available. You can get paper forms from Regional DTMI Service Centres, participating public libraries, or your local Community Resource Centre.

Note: Manual and paper applications can take up to 8 weeks to process

Prepare for Census Night – 11 August 2026!

Dear Community Members,

Your participation in the upcoming 2026 Census is extremely important for the visibility and future of the CALD communites in Australia.

You do not need to be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident to be counted in the Census. Everyone who is in Australia on Census Night should be included, including international students, temporary visa holders, working holiday makers, visitors, and people on any other type of visa. If you have guests staying in your home on Census Night, they should also be included where appropriate.

It is especially important that you identify your background in the Census. Government agencies use Census data to plan services, allocate funding, and make decisions about the needs of our community.

Census data is also an important factor when advocating for initiatives, improved community services, and the consideration of future government services.

We kindly ask you to ensure that you, your children, and everyone staying in your household on Census Night are counted and that you identify when completing the Census.

The Census is available in different languages as well, and if you need assistance, you can access free interpreting services through TIS National.

By taking a few minutes to complete the Census accurately, you will be making a valuable contribution to the future of our communities.

The Census is the most comprehensive snapshot of Australia. The Australian Bureau of Statistics conducts the Census every five years.

Quite a while ago attended the launching event for Dr. Tony Buti MLA The Hon. Dr. Tony Buti's latest book, A Considered Act: How Voluntary Assisted Dying Became Legal in Western Australia”. Premier The Hon Roger Cook, Premier of WA Roger Cook MLA WA Premier Roger Cook was there in the panel supporting. I posted it now because I wanted to read it first.

It was a different experience sitting there and listening the story and history behind it. I got my signed book that is added to my book collection, seen some familiar faces I knew.

It’s a topic that I found a difficult matter. It does not mean I was agreeing or disagreeing with the decision but more curiosity and courtesy to understand the process and what lead yo this decision.
