Yambuk Lake Caravan Park 20 mins from Port Fairy in Vic, has to be one of the best parks I've ever stayed in, and it's not expensive.
The views and walks are stunning and the park area is relatively small with just 34 sites of powered and unpowered sites, all grassed. Great for families with a BIG slide for kids and a great play area, the shower block is clean and the park manager super helpful and friendly. (He's a new operator - last few months)
I could easily stay much longer and will definately return.

If you are ever in central west Queensland put Yaraka on your list. $5 per night for power and water on a site behind the pub . Such friendly publicans and Chris does a free 45 minute trip up to Mount Slocombe for the sunset views while providing a narrated tour. Council pool is next door $2 for a swim. To top it all off the two resident emus Kevin and Carol are very friendly.

My favorite place to camp is on a property that my partner and I used to work on, called Quambone Station in NSW. It's not a public camping ground, but it's my favorite spot. We camp in the shearers' quarters and enjoy hot water from the bore.

This is my fiancees and my current setup. We plan to expand by getting a 4-6 person instant up tent with still using the gazebo and one of the hubs. We have the usual things like tables and stuff. Looking at getting a box trailer to put everything in. Do you think a 6x4 will be enough or do you think 7x4 is better?
