The ‘Kind and Generous’ heart of Penrith was again showcased last night with $250,400 raised at our WestCare Dinner to see Local Needs Met By Local People!

💙 We THANK and SALUTE our hosts, the Salamakis family from The Coffee Club Nepean River and Luke from Sydney Direct Fresh Produce for once again helping make this possible!
💙 AND the incredible staff from The Coffee Club who radically donated their time, skills and hospitality!
💙 AND every auction item donor and bidder, financial donor, food and service donor!
💙 AND the army of WestCare Volunteers who worked very hard before, during and after the event!
💙 AND a Mega Thank you to our special friends MC Troy Dodds, Master Auctioneer Troy Kennedy, Brooke Grosse Photography for fabulous photo's, Aaron from AtPrint, Allyson from Whispers of Eden, Dave from Cellars Wholesalers, Joe & Clara Penrith Party Hire, Steve & Natasha from Flash Me Photobooths, Lee from Black Door Gallery and too many others to fit on this post!

We've had a fun crew from the Kingswood TAFE 'Screen and Media' class join us this week under the tutelage of the great Nick Bleszynski 🤠

Nick has over 40 years experience worldwide working in broadcast television with the BBC, ABC, Channel 7, National Geographic, the Discovery Channel etc, while also being a best-selling author and a mighty fine bloke!

We love blokes like our mate Bob from Queensland who makes these wooden toys in his shed for us and brings them down when he visits his mates in Penrith, to bless kids here who wouldn't normally have toys like this.
