Thank you to Lower Blue Mountains Air and LG for your incredible generosity and support.

Today, our new air conditioning system was installed at Penrith Community Kitchen, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

This generous donation will make a huge difference, providing a cooler, more comfortable environment for our volunteers and the many people who walk through our doors each week. Small acts of kindness like this have a lasting impact, and we’re incredibly thankful to have businesses that genuinely care about our community.

A special thank you to the Rapid Relief Team (RRT) for ensuring we could continue serving meals while our kitchen was temporarily out of action during the installation. Thanks to your generosity, compassion and willingness to step in, no one went without a meal. Your support made all the difference.

Partnerships like these remind us what can be achieved when our community comes together to help those who need it most.

Help Us Support Local Young People

The Penrith Community Kitchen has been approached by JobQuest Penrith to help support young people in our community who are working towards employment and further education.

Many of these students are experiencing food insecurity, and something as simple as a nutritious meal can make a real difference to their attendance, wellbeing and future opportunities.

We’re looking for local businesses, organisations and community members who would like to partner with us by sponsoring meals for this program.

The current need:
🍽️ 15 hot meals per day
📅 Tuesdays & Wednesdays
📍 North Penrith Community Centre
⏳ 12-week program, commencing 11 August

Every sponsored meal helps remove a barrier for a young person striving to build a better future.

If your business would like to sponsor a day, donate meals, or become an ongoing community partner, we’d love to hear from you.

Together, we can ensure no young person has to choose between learning and going hungry.
