The Lions Club of Sydney Indian proudly conducted its Annual General Meeting on 9 August 2026 at Haveli Function Centre, Blacktown.
The AGM was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on a year of service, growth, and community impact. Members reviewed the Club's achievements, adopted annual reports, and confirmed the office bearers who will lead the Club for the 2026-2027 Lions Year.
During the year, our Club successfully delivered and supported several meaningful community initiatives, including:

Diabetes Awareness and Community Health Programs in partnership with JET Australia

Metabolic Wellness and Diabetes Awareness Program in collaboration with CMRC Parramatta and JET Australia
β
Glamour for Goodness Project supporting community wellbeing and social inclusion
β
Participation in the Mother's Day Classic Parramatta, supporting breast and ovarian cancer awareness and research
β
Continued growth in membership and community engagement
We were also delighted to welcome and recognise our new members, whose enthusiasm and commitment will further strengthen our ability to serve the community.
A special thank you to our Senior Lion Ron Gattone, Zone Chairperson Lion Sarath Pamidiparthi, Past District Governor Lion Mohan Nanayakkara and Guest Speaker Jay Raman ,distinguished guests, community partners, and all members who contributed to the success of the Club throughout the year. Your dedication to service continues to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
As we commence the new Lions Year, we look forward to expanding our community service initiatives, building stronger partnerships, and creating even greater impact through our shared commitment to the Lions motto:
