We are unashamedly parochial, we believe that we live in the best suburb in Australia, we seek to keep it that way and make it even better. The Trust is an association of concerned residents that aims to -

Preserve the qualities of the area – its natural environment of bush, parks, trees and streetscapes, its residential character of family homes and gardens, and its heritage features

Improve t

he amenity of the area – infrastructure, accessibility, facilities and services to meet the needs of the local community

Provide a community voice to achieve these aims.

We cleaned up around 25kg of rubbish is just over 1.5 hours in Pennant Hills on day. 10 people showed up and helped out. 25kg of trash, paper, plastic, a waterpistol, a house key, $2 treasure coin and more rubbish. Pennant Hills People and Places - 1800-2010.

Last night at the PHDCT Inc. Annual General Meeting we proudly saw the public launch of the new history book about the best place in the Hornsby Shire, NSW, Australia and the world. Pennant Hills People and Places 1800-2010 is a 400 page collection of historic texts, photos, advertising, anecdotes and records from Pennant Hills and its residents. Arduously compiled by Patricia Dewey and the late Helen Barker over many years and many visits to all sorts of archives, it has now been published by the Pennant Hills District Civic Trust. We have presented the very first copy to our other local historian, Hornsby Councillor Nathan Tilbury Independent for Hornsby, recognizing all the good work he has been doing for Hornsby Shire, and for Pennant Hills in particular.

Do you want one? Reach out and send us a DM. The book costs $80 and for an additional $20 you get a full year membership of the Civic Trust as well.
