Planning is underway for North West Ecofest Tasmania 2027!

On the heels of our highly successful 10th anniversary festival, Ecofest is back for 2027—and we want to invite you to be a key partner in our next chapter.

From paddock-to-plate living to the global impact of fast fashion, Ecofest has become a staple Tasmanian event. Thousands of attendees join us each year to learn, connect, and dive into hands-on workshops like composting, making beeswax wraps, and sustainable crafting. Sustainable living conversations are started and initiatives are born and community connects over the two festival days.

We are excited to bring the festival back to Ulverstone:

📍 Location: Camp Clayton, Ulverstone

📅 Dates: 3rd – 4th April 2027

🌱 2027 Theme: Sow, Grow, Keep — Feeding Our Future.

Yes, it’s that topic again. AI is rushing ahead in our lives, whether we like it or not. How can it be made sustainable for our benefit as individuals and for the community, rather than as a money and power making platform for techbros from another country?

Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania secretary Jason Jacobi tells Tasmania Mornings presenter David Reilly what his team learnt from the first round of consultation and how the second draft reflects that.

At All About Tranquil (AAT), we’re passionate about making a real difference in the community. Our mission is simple: to inspire, accompany and motivate individuals and workplaces with tools, knowledge and confidence to navigate life’s challenges and build a stronger, more connected community.
We believe in creating trauma informed spaces where people feel supported, heard and valued. By blending practical skills with genuine care, we aim to spark meaningful change—one conversation, one workshop and one person at a time.
Together, we are creating a future where wellbeing is a priority and more people have the chance to thrive.
