Dear PVSG Families,

We’re seeking donations of items for an upcoming BBQ fundraiser to support our Scouts travelling to New Zealand this December and to Poland for the World Scout Jamboree.

These incredible opportunities come with significant costs, and we’re working hard to help our Scouts raise funds to make the trips possible. Any donated items, big or small, would be greatly appreciated and will help support the group on their journey.

This National Volunteer Week, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to our incredible Scout Leaders. 💙

Your time, energy, patience, and dedication make such a difference in the lives of our young people. From planning adventurous activities and camps, to mentoring, encouraging, and supporting our Scouts each week - everything you do helps create unforgettable experiences and lifelong memories.

The Pascoe Vale scout families truly appreciate the care, guidance, and opportunities you provide. Your commitment helps our Scouts build confidence, resilience, friendships, and skills that will stay with them for years to come.

Thank you for giving your time so generously and for being such positive role models in our community. We are so grateful for each and every one of you. 🌟

Your year to volunteer starts with one decision. One yes. And then something unexpected happens. The community pulls you in, the work becomes meaningful, and before long you realise that volunteering is giving back to you just as much as you are giving to it.

REMINDER: Bunnings Bake Sale next Sunday 3 May!

Have you decided what you and your Joey/ Cub/ Scout are making yet? Would friends or relatives like to make something to donate?

Collect your packaging from the hall on your section night this week. Available options: Sealing cellophane bags, cake boxes, brown paper bags, labels and more!

Please drop off your donations between 12-4pm** on 2nd May to the Scout Hall or to Coburg Bunnings before 9am on the 3rd.

Two of our Rovers, Mason and Peter, are involved in this year's Gang Show!

This year, Melbourne Gang Show presents an original production, ‘The Game’. Performing at The Besen Centre, Burwood, from Friday, June 19 - Saturday, June 27.

In the Game, two teams, the Titans and the Sabres, face off in a relentless contest of strategy, strength, and survival. Elders enforce the rules while the outside world watches every move on a never-ending live feed, turning players into celebrities and legends. But when new recruits enter the arena, one spark threatens to change everything… and the Facilitators will stop at nothing to keep control.

Suitable for all ages, and with ten spectacular performances to choose from, Melbourne Gang Show is the perfect way to celebrate the end of Term 2. There is sure to be a performance to suit you/your unit.

Don't forget you can donate your 10c containers to the group by dropping them in the CDS wheelie bin at the hall, or choosing Pascoe Vale Scout Group from the list of charities when returning your containers directly :)
