🕊️ Vale Nihat Ziyalan (1936 – 2026)

Poet, actor and storyteller. From Adana to Yeşilçam to Sydney, Nihat Amca carried his love of the arts everywhere he went, and stayed a warm presence at our events until very recently.

Our heartfelt condolences to his wife Nedret Hanım, his loved ones and his admirers around the world.

Nihat Ziyalan'ı saygıyla anıyoruz. Işıklar içinde uyusun. 🤍

Last night we had the privilege of attending 57th Regiment and the ANZACs — a powerful, emotional and beautifully produced theatre performance.

A heartfelt tribute to the courage, sacrifice and shared history of Gallipoli, brought to life with great care by Turkish and Australian youth.

Congratulations to everyone involved in this meaningful production. It was more than theatre — it was remembrance on stage. 🇹🇷🇦🇺

We have not forgotten. We will not let it be forgotten.
