The University of Western Sydney Muslim Students’ Association (WSMSA) is the official representative body of Muslims on campus. UWS MSA operates on a cross campus level, active on the Bankstown, Parramatta, Campbeltown and Penrith WS campuses. On the Parramatta campus, WSMSA’s aims are two-fold; these are to

- Cater to the needs of Muslims on campus and foster an Islamic environment; and

- Propo

gate Islam and its understanding to both Muslims and non-Muslims alike. The various ways that WSMSA Parramatta seeks to achieve these objectives include a prayer room for all Muslims to use as well as Islamic literature and classes. We also barrack for the provision of halal food for the Muslims on campus. These things, amongst many others, are done to accommodate the needs of Muslims on campus. We also hold public events and initiatives to promote Islam to both Muslims and non-Muslims. These public events focus on a variety of topics, from core Islamic matters central to every Muslim, to the controversial topics that flourish the headlines. Through this we aim to educate Muslims and non Muslims about Islam so that they may gain a sound and thorough understanding and we also seek to engage in intellectual discourse with all manner of other faiths. Some specific initiatives include Islamic Awareness Week, which is an annual week long campaign aimed at educating the student population about Islam and giving them a chance to engage with Muslims. Some goals that have been outlined for the year include: becoming more connected with the student community, regular talks, da'wah stalls and more

We hope that WSMSA Parramatta can serve and assist the student population on campus and via facebook by engaging as a dynamic and creative student body on the basis of Islam. Regards,

🌸 Fortnightly Sisters’ Halaqah 🌸

Join us every fortnight on Mondays for our Sisters’ Halaqah as we come together to learn, reflect, and strengthen our brotherhood and connection with Allah (SWT).

Each session will be a warm, welcoming space to discuss meaningful Islamic topics, gain practical reminders, and uplift one another in a supportive sisterhood.

⚽️ WSMSA 2026 Futsal Tournament Recap ⚽️

Alhamdullilah, we are grateful for yet another opportunity to hold these incredible events. We appreciate the level of energy and competition making this a fun time overall alongside and most importantly increasing the brotherhood for the sake of Allah.

Big congratulations to the overall winning team and their efforts to make that comeback! Tonight was electric but more importantly, tonight was not just about the medals, trophies and goals, it was about building bonds between old and new faces and strengthening that brotherhood through sports all in the sake of Allah, keeping us grounded and reminding us that we are all one Ummah.
