A BBQ with a little BOO!

What a fun night at Bunnings Arundel Halloween BBQ! Plenty of sizzling snags, spooky decorations, Halloween fun and lots of laughs along the way.

Our Rotary crew got into the Halloween spirit, serving up a sausage sandwich with a side of fright!
Our special thanks to Gabbie (from Bunnings) who will be hanging up her BBQ hat for a new role within Bunnings - we will miss you and thank you again for all your support

A huge thank you to everyone from the community who came along and, of course, a big shout-out to our fantastic Parkwood Rotary volunteers.

Mental Wealth, Sausages & a Little Rotary Magic!

Parkwood Rotary was delighted to be part of Arundel State School’s Mental Wealth Day, firing up the BBQ and getting our hands dirty with some fun gardening activities!

From supplying and sizzling sausages and burgers to digging in the garden, our wonderful volunteers were happy to roll up their sleeves and help make the day a success. Who knew mental wealth could come with a side of sauce and a little dirt under your fingernails?

A big thank you to Arundel State School for having us involved in such a wonderful initiative, promoting wellbeing, connection and a little time outdoors.

We’re proud to support our local community, one sausage and one seedling at a time!

What a fabulous afternoon celebrating Seniors Month with a delightful soirée filled with wonderful entertainment, plenty of smiles and great company!

Our guests were treated to a spectacular performance by Vivachi Entertainment, with a very special visit from the Phantom of the Opera himself! Talk about making an entrance!

A wonderful afternoon of music, laughter and a touch of theatrical magic, celebrating the amazing seniors in our community.

A huge thank you to Cr Shelley Curtis, Cr Joe Wilkinson and The Bendigo Bank, Paradise Point for sponsoring this special event and helping make it such a memorable occasion.

Here’s to celebrating our seniors, making memories and enjoying a little sparkle along the way!

WHAT’S REALLY GOING ON IN OUR OCEANS?
We live on the Gold Coast, surrounded by some pretty spectacular waterways and marine life... but how much do we really know about what’s happening beneath the surface?
Ocean Connect provides activities and experiences for non-divers, beginner divers, experienced divers, youth groups and senior citizens, marine enthusiasts to marine professionals and Gold Coast long term residents to the newly arrived.

Tomorrow night, Parkwood Rotary welcomes Lea from Ocean Connect Australia, and this is one speaker you might want to make time for. Because there’s a whole world beneath the surface... and Lea is going to tell us more about it!
