PPIA University of Melbourne

PPIA University of Melbourne A non-profit Indonesian Students Association at the University of Melbourne PPIA stands for Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia Australia.

PPIA is a student-led organization aiming to build a community of Indonesian students in Australia. We are concerned with assisting the welfare of Indonesian students, as well as building a solid support network. At the same time, we are the social and cultural representative of Indonesia in Australia. Our history began on 8 March 1981 in Canberra, in which 8 Indonesian students joined together an

d formed the first Indonesian Students Association. Since then, PPIA has been continually developing; nearly every major university in Victoria has a PPIA. PPIA Unimelb now hold several annual events with many participants, Indonesian and other nationalities alike. This website is here to provide you with the latest updates on projects or events that our committee has worked on in the past or is currently working on. We hope you continue to support us in the future.
