The 2024 CWAS "David Malin Awards" traveling exhibition has opened at the Museum of the Riverina.

When the 2025 CWAS "David Malin Awards" traveling exhibition dates are available we will post them here.

The Results of the 2025 CWAS "David Malin Awards"

In a special ceremony held today in Parkes, during the 2025 CWAS AstroFest, the winners of this year’s CWAS “David Malin Awards” were announced. The permanent exhibition of the winning images will be officially opened at the CSIRO Parkes Observatory’s Visitors Centre, tomorrow, Sunday, 28 September, at 10:00 AM.

The 2025 CWAS AstroFest

We're all set and everything is ready to go for tomorrow's festival of astronomy, or AstroFest.

The AstroFest will incorporate a one day conference and a programme of associated events. The conference will be held in the function room of the Bushman's Motor Inn, on Saturday, 27 September 2025. In a series of lectures, guest speakers will provide fascinating insights into various aspects of modern astronomy. On Sunday, 28 September 2025, events will move to the CSIRO Parkes Observatory Visitors Centre with a programme of daytime astronomy and talks.

It's not too late to attend the conference.
