What an amazing achievement by the ‘Metropolitan Magic’ girls at the Tennis NSW U14 State Team Championships! 🎾👏 These girls showed incredible determination, teamwork, and resilience throughout the tournament, earning their place in the Grand Final and finishing as State Runners-Up 🥈

Let me introduce myself!

Hi, my name is Asha, and I’m the founder of the Hey Sis Project. The Hey Sis Project is all about empowering and inspiring young women and girls from different backgrounds. Through tennis, mentorship, and a supportive community, I aim to help them build confidence, develop leadership skills, and thrive both on and off the court, and in any sport or anything they choose to pursue.

I can’t wait to see this community grow, welcome and thank you for joining me on this journey!

And to Tia, thank you for stepping in and helping me today and every single day since I met you. Your support, kindness, and genuinely beautiful heart mean more to me than words can express.

I actually started losing my voice the day before, which made it really difficult for me to speak today and finish the speech the way I had planned. Without hesitation, you stepped in and helped carry it through when I couldn’t, agreeing to take over and making sure the moment still continued.

That meant so much to me. It’s just another example of the kind of person you are,
someone who always shows up, supports others, and steps in when it matters most. I’m so grateful for you and for everything you do, not just today but every day
