🌟 Thank You, Peak Hill Community! 🌟
A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Outreach Day on Monday. It was fantastic to see so many people come along, connect with services, and enjoy the day together.
We would also like to extend an extra special thank you to all of the amazing vendors and organisations who gave their time and support to make the day such a success:
🔹 Aboriginal Affairs NSW – Cooking the BBQ🔹 Catholic Care Wilcannia Forbes – Games & Snow Cones🔹 Neighbourhood Central – Airbrush Tattoos🔹 Peak Hill Aboriginal Medical Service – Providing 715 Health Checks🔹 Peak Hill Central School – Allowing us to use the school grounds to host the Outreach Day and providing access to the kitchen for the Aboriginal Affairs team to cook up a fantastic BBQ without the hassle of those pesky flies🔹 Peak Hill Fire Station – Keeping everyone cool with the fire truck🔹 Peak Hill Library🔹 Peak Hill Police🔹 Quit B Fit🔹 REDI.E🔹 RnR Jumping Castle Hire🔹 TAFE NSW
While we've highlighted just a few of the activities above, every vendor and organisation contributed so much more throughout the day. Your willingness to engage with the community, share valuable information, provide activities, and create a welcoming environment made a real difference and helped make the event the success it was.
The fire truck and snow cones were a massive hit, especially with the warmer-than-expected weather! ☀️🚒🍧
Without each and every one of you, and the support of your teams, the day would not have been the success that it was. Your time, effort, and commitment to our community are truly appreciated.
A special thank you to Evolution Mining for funding the role of our AYM, making it possible to deliver events such as the Outreach Day. Your support helps create opportunities for community connection and engagement across Peak Hill and the surrounding areas.
Thank you all for your support, collaboration, and commitment to our community. We look forward to working together again in the future! ❤️💙🤍
