Parkes Gamers Club events are open to the whole community to attend, not just CUC students!

This event is strictly 16+ and is alcohol free.

Thank you to Parkes East Public School for welcoming us yesterday. There will be some very happy bugs around Parkes this week! 🐛🐞

We had the pleasure of exploring the fascinating world of insects with Parkes East’s two Kindergarten classes, helping to create a new generation of young entomologists.

Together, we learned about local insect habitats, food sources and shelter needs before putting that knowledge into practice by building bug hotels to encourage insects to visit and thrive in our gardens.

Programs like this give young people the opportunity to discover careers, ideas and areas of learning they may not encounter in their everyday lives. By making science practical, creative and fun, we can build curiosity, widen participation in education and encourage a lifelong love of learning.

Thank you again to the students and staff at Parkes East Public School for having us. We cannot wait to deliver more programs like this and continue inspiring young minds across our community. 🔬🌱

Lifelong learning can never start too early 🧪

Over the next nine weeks, we’re excited to share our passion for lifelong learning as we partner with the wonderful team at Bangala-la Preschool to deliver our Early Explorers Science Sessions!

Each session introduces children to a different area of STEM through hands-on, play-based learning that encourages curiosity, creativity and problem-solving.

This week, we read The Three Billy Goats Gruff and challenged our young scientists and engineers to answer an important question: How could the goats cross the river without meeting the troll? The solution? Design and build a troll-free bridge! Through teamwork, creativity and simple engineering principles, our Early Explorers put their ideas to the test and created some fantastic bridge designs.

We can’t wait to see what the next nine weeks of discovery bring as we continue inspiring curiosity, confidence and a love of learning in our youngest community members.

A huge thank you to the incredible team at Bangala-la Preschool for partnering with us to make this program possible. 🌟🔬🌉

It’s time to register for Semester 2 at CUC Parkes!

If you studied with us during Semester 1, your personalised re‑registration link was emailed to you on Wednesday. Make sure you complete your re‑registration before the end of the month to keep your Centre access active. If you’ve finished studying or are taking a break, please reach out so we can update your enrolment.

Coffee Club is taking a break!

Coffee Club will not run this Friday and will pause during the school holiday period. Sessions will resume on Friday, 24th of July at Be Cafe from 9:00am and will continue on a fortnightly basis. All students are welcome to attend and enjoy a complimentary drink. No bookings are required.

Monday Coffee Club has been discontinued due to low attendance.
