It was great to see so many people come together at NT's couch surfing event to raise awareness for Youth Homelessness.
On any given night, 3,200 Territorians aged 12-24 are homeless. This doesn’t always mean sleeping rough. It can look like moving between friends’ houses, staying with relatives, or relying on short-term arrangements just to get through the week.
This experience leaves too many young people without stability, safety, or the support they need.
Every young person deserves a safe place to call home.
