A little about Phoenix. He is quite typical in many ways of those with severe Autism. He has no sense of danger, no safety awareness, has high anxiety, has meltdowns that are often violent, makes a lot of vocal noise, is non-verbal and is incredibly strong for a boy his age. This is where Jimmy comes in to play. Jimmy is a pure bred Labrador who is a Autism Assistance Dog. What does Jimmy do? he h

elps with Phoenixs anxiety, his meltdowns and helps Phoenix be able to get around in public without the use of his wheelchair which was used to keep Phoenix safe and made phoenix feel safe and secure. As an Autism Assistance Dog Jimmy has the same access rights as a Guide dog. Jimmy has already made sure a huge impact in Phoenixs and our lives and we cant wait to see where this journey leads us.
