We are proud to recognise Ashalee Jones who represent us at the WorldSkills Australian Regional Competition held at PEER.

Ashalee’s achievement is testament to his dedication and passion for electrotechnical studies, an area that underpins the future of electrical engineering. Competing against 18 other talented students who had advanced to this prestigious stage, Ash showcased his outstanding practical abilities and theoretical understanding of complex electrical concepts.

Throughout the competition, Ash displayed skills and professionalism beyond his years, demonstrating mastery in areas such as wiring, fault-finding, and the safe handling of electrical components. His performance highlighted both the high-quality VET pathway at Paralowie in partnership with PEER.

Building on this success, Ash’s next step will be to represent South Australia in the interstate leg of the WorldSkills competition. This is a fantastic opportunity for him to demonstrate his skills on a broader stage and compete alongside some of the best emerging electrical talent from across Australia.

We congratulate Ashalee on this remarkable achievement and look forward to seeing further success from him and other emerging leaders in the field. Ash’s involvement in WorldSkills not only celebrates individual excellence but also inspires fellow students to strive for their own goals and embrace opportunities within VET and STEM disciplines.
