Paradise Point parkrun Paradise Point parkrun is a free, timed, 5km run / walk put on by the community for the community at The great thing is that you only ever need to do this once!

parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5km timed run, jog or walk. It can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. Paradise Point parkrun offers an opportunity for all members of our local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy our beautiful foreshore and get physically active in the process. We want to encourage people to walk, jog or run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE! Taking part is easy – just register in advance by 6pm on the Friday before your first ever parkrun event. Then just set your alarm for Saturday morning and get yourself there!

♻️ GIVE YOUR SPORTING GEAR A SECOND LIFE!

We’re delighted to have the Make Ways Foundation joining us with charity collection bins. Kat attended parkrun last week and spoke to us about the collection.

They’re collecting clean, usable items, including:
👟 Sports shoes
👕 Sports clothing
🏏 Old sports equipment

These items will be donated overseas or recycled, helping keep perfectly good gear out of landfill. What a fantastic cause!

If you have any unwanted sporting gear that’s still in good, usable condition, please bring it along on Saturday and pop it in the collection bins. Every donation makes a difference! 💚

We can’t wait to celebrate with our wonderful Paradise Point parkrun community. Bring your family, bring your friends and let’s make our 11th birthday a colourful one! 🎉💛🩷

Wear your brightest colours and help us make it a morning full of fun, smiles and celebrations!

Another fantastic morning at Paradise Point parkrun! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

With many of our locals away taking part in the GC50 event this weekend, we still had 395 participants running, jogging and walking their way around the course. Great to see so many of you out enjoying the morning and celebrating milestones! 👏

🏆 A special congratulations to Marcus and his Mum, Sandy!
Marcus achieved the highest male age grade of 81.08%, while Sandy topped the female age grade with an amazing 83.29%. What an awesome achievement for both of you! 🎉

🙌 A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers who make parkrun possible every week. We still have a few gaps in the roster over the coming weeks, so please check the future roster and send us a message if you can lend a hand. Every little bit helps!
