Melville History Society welcomes you to the Miller Bakehouse Museum on its next open day, Sunday 5 July 2026.

Presentation by David from The Lupin Co. ''History, uses and benefits of lupin flour''
including a demonstration of making sourdough bread with added lupin flour.
Any of your bread and sourdough baking questions can be answered by qualified bakers.

View the recently restored 120-year-old Bakers’ Trough and a new movie clip demonstrating the operation of an old wood fired brick oven.

Gluten free baking talk.
We invite you to our next open day on Sunday
3 May 2026, when we will be featuring a Gluten Free Baking talk at 3 pm. Presented by Susan Walsh from Panna Artisan Gluten Free Bakery in Palmyra.

You can also have any of your bread and sourdough baking questions answered by qualified bakers.
