Pakenham Show

Pakenham Show The Show Society was originally formed in 1911 by a small group of farmers wishing to display their Horticultural and Agricultural achievements.

Although there was a period when the Show was not able to be conducted due to wars etc., they have managed to stage a show most of the past 100 years. There are still to this day many ancestors of the original committee still residing in the area, and in some cases further generations are still on the existing Committee.

You might have already noticed more PSOs for longer hours on trains and patrolling the area in and around our train stations, particularly at Pakenham and Pakenham East.

Feeling safer on trains and platforms throughout the day and night is so important for all of us.

Officers are constantly moving around the network to detect and deter crime.

It’s all part of Victoria Police’s overhaul to step up the fight against crime and put PSOs where they’re needed, when they’re needed, based on real police intelligence.
