Connecting 2 Communities

We regret to advise that Connecting 2 Communities will not be operating in 2026 and, as a result, we will be unable to continue with our planned programs.
This decision has not been made lightly.

Unfortunately, the plans we had in place to continue the program have fallen through and, after careful consideration, we have had to make the difficult decision to close our doors for 2026.

With ongoing reductions in government funding combined with increasing operational and delivery costs, it has unfortunately become no longer viable for us to continue operating in a way that aligns with our values and the quality of support we strive to provide.

We understand that this news may cause inconvenience, particularly for students, teachers, and schools, as enrolments and planning were already underway for the beginning of the year. For this, we sincerely apologise and acknowledge the disruption this decision may cause to your planning and programs.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone for the incredible support shown to Connecting 2 Communities over the years. We have truly enjoyed the journey and are deeply grateful for the positive collaborations that made such a meaningful impact.

Thank you to every individual, school, organisation, and partner who helped us support and give back to the community in so many different ways.

We truly appreciate the trust and support you have shown us, and should any opportunities arise in the future, we will be sure to be in contact.

✨ Exciting News! ✨

We’re thrilled to share that Connecting 2 Communities was mentioned in the paper this week for our collaboration with Dulux Pakenham and ColourPro Painting! 🎉

A HUGE thank you to these amazing businesses for their generous donation of paint, their time, and their incredible support in helping us re-paint the interior of our Pakenham facility. 🖌️🎨

Not only did they brighten up our space, but they also went above and beyond by sharing valuable tricks of the trade with some of our SBAT students — an experience they’ll carry with them into the future. 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓

We are so grateful for your generosity and community spirit, and we hope to work alongside you again soon. 💙💚

A huge thank you to Simone and Michael from Floorworld Narre Warren for their incredibly generous donation of carpet tiles for our renovations at the Pakenham site! 🙌

Working with them was an absolute breeze — friendly, professional, and so supportive throughout the whole process. We’re truly grateful for their help and excited to give our space a much-needed refresh.

We can’t wait to rip up the old carpet and lay down the new – thanks to Narre Warren Floorworld, it’s going to look fantastic! 💙
