South West Christian Church – Weekly Update ✨
What a blessing it was to gather together this Sunday! 🙌
We loved spending time in worship, in God’s Word, and in fellowship as a church family. And if you’re new, visiting, or just getting to know our church community — we want to say a special welcome. We’re so glad you’re here 🤍
This Sunday, as we continued our Tabernacle series, we were reminded of something so important: God doesn’t only want to answer our prayers — He wants to draw us close to Himself.
Prayer is more than bringing a list of needs to God; it’s an invitation to slow down, seek His face, and enjoy His presence in our everyday lives. What a gift it is to know that through Jesus, we have open access to the Father. 🙏✨
In the middle of busy weeks, responsibilities, and distractions, it’s easy for prayer to become rushed or routine. But God continues to invite us into something deeper — a real relationship with Him, marked by intimacy, trust, and daily communion.
📖 Verse for the Week
“Let my prayer be counted as incense before you…” — Psalm 141:2

🌿 Some reflective questions to consider this week...
Personal Reflection
Is my prayer life focused more on God’s presence or God’s provision?
How closely does my prayer life reflect the intimacy God intended in Eden?
Have I allowed busyness to extinguish the fire of prayer?
What distractions are preventing me from spending time in God’s presence?
Do I approach prayer as a duty or as a relationship?
🔥 Challenge for the Week
Spend the first five minutes of every prayer time focusing only on God’s presence, worship, and thanksgiving before making any requests.
Ask yourself each day:
“Am I seeking answers from God, or am I seeking God Himself?”
We’re praying this encourages and strengthens you in your walk with the Lord this week. May we continue to make room for His presence, hear His voice, and draw near to Him in every season. 🤍
Blessings, and love you all in Jesus’ name,
Rob & Piera
