Cancer Care Western NSW We offer affordable accommodation for guests receiving treatment at Orange Health Service. Cancer Care Western NSW Incorporated was established in January 2007.

We continue to lobby Government for accessible Radiotherapy and Cancer Treatment options for the people of Central and Western New South Wales. In 2011 we completed Western Care Lodge providing 14 twin ensuite rooms for those requiring treatment and their carers. The Lodge is a short walk from the treatment facilities at the Orange Health Service. Our current accommodation is used to capacity. The modern Lodge is in a garden setting with outdoor courtyards, dining, kitchen, lounge, laundry and a library. In July 2013 we commenced building an additional 8 ensuite rooms at an estimated cost of $1.4 million. All donations directly fund this development. Fundraising is well underway. We have obtained a commercial loan to enable the construction to commence.

What a wonderful night celebrating the incredible businesses, people and achievements that make our Orange community so special!
Congratulations to all of the winners and finalists — your hard work, dedication and contribution to our local community deserves to be celebrated. It was fantastic to see so many local businesses, community members and supporters come together for such a wonderful evening.👏🥂

As a Major Sponsor of the Orange Business Awards, we were honoured and incredibly proud to be part of this special event. Our Lodge Manager, Sue, along with several board members attended the awards, supporting and celebrating our local business community. A special mention to Badlands Brewery, who won Excellence in Small Business, which was present by our Vice Chair John Carpenter.

We are absolutely thrilled and excited to share that Western Care Lodge has been named a Finalist in the 2026 Business Orange Awards.

This recognition means so much to us and is a wonderful acknowledgment of the importance role Western Care Lodge plays in supporting people and families across our region while they are away from home receiving medical treatment.
