🥎 🧡 A few days away from the classroom for softball? Sounds pretty good to us! 🧡🥎

Some of our ODSA players and coaches were away this week competing at the CHS Girls Open Softball Final 16 Knockout in Campbelltown.

It sounds like the weather threw out a few challenges across the tournament, but that didn’t stop the team from getting out there and competing against some of the best school teams in the state.

Congratulations to the team on finishing 10th overall, and well done to all our ODSA representatives who were involved. We love seeing our players and coaches taking every opportunity to get out on the diamond and represent 🥎🧡🖤

Last night we unexpectedly discovered that Terri Newman was also a finalist for Volunteer of the Year — having accidentally been left off the official SNSW finalist announcements 👏

Congratulations Terri on being recognised as a finalist in this category.

Expressions of Interest are now open for players wishing to represent ODSA in our 2026 U14 Representative teams!

📍 Championships: Wagga Wagga
📅 19–20 September 2026

To be eligible, players must be:
• No younger than 10 years of age
• Under 14 years of age as at 31 December 2026

A huge congratulations to Nat Papallo (player) and Ellen Sharp (manager) on their selection in the NSW O35 Women’s team competing at Nationals in July 👏

A fantastic achievement and wonderful recognition of the contribution both continue to make to the game, both on and off the diamond.

We’re proud to see ODSA represented at Nationals and can’t wait to follow the team in July 🥎🧡🖤
