Tonight our Scouts got stuck into some chemistry!

We had a go at 3 different experiments, including colour changing fire and elephant toothpaste!

We also started planning our program for next term, and one of our Scouts presented their SIA.

MISSING SCOUTS? COME BACK AND GET INVOLVED!

Orange scouts are currently looking for volunteers to join our team!

Maybe you were once a youth member yourself. Maybe you spent your weekends camping, hiking, canoeing and making memories outdoors and now you find yourself missing it.

Why not come back?

We’re looking for:

Leaders for all sections
Committee Members
General Helpers

Are you between 18 and 26? Have you considered joining Rovers?

Rovers is a great way to get back into Scouting, meet new people and head away on adventures. You don’t have to become a leader — you can simply come along, get involved and enjoy the Rovering experience!

You don’t need to have been involved in Scouts before, and you don’t need to know everything. Training and support are provided, and there are plenty of ways to get involved.

Whether you want to volunteer every week, help behind the scenes, get back out camping, join Rovers or simply lend a hand when you can — we’d love to hear from you!

If scouting gave you great memories growing up. Now you could help create those memories for the next generation.

On Thursday, our Scouts headed out for a bike ride along the Moulder Park Loop!

Along the way, they stopped to complete a series of Minute to Win It activities.

Last weekend, our Cubs and Scouts headed off for a weekend of camping.

Throughout the weekend, they:
Built their own bush shelters
Learned how to light and manage fires
Made damper over the fire
Put their navigation skills to the test
Worked together to prepare and cook meals

It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved, working as a team and having a go at new challenges.

A big thank you to all our leaders and adult helpers for making this weekend happen!
