🎉 Celebrating 90 Years and 57 Years of Service 🎉 Happy Birthday Arthur 💙

🌟 Today, members and volunteers of our St Vincent de Paul Cowra family gathered to celebrate an extraordinary Vincentian whose life has been defined by faith, compassion and service.

❤️At 90 years young and with an incredible 57 years service as a member of the Cowra St Raphael’s Conference, Arthur has quietly and faithfully lived the Vincentian vocation: supporting those facing hardship, listening without judgement, advocating for dignity, and strengthening our local community supporting those in need of a hand up.

🫶🏻The impact of 57 years of service cannot be measured simply in years. It is reflected in the countless lives touched.

🕊️Today we honour not only a remarkable birthday, but a legacy of service, humility and compassion. ❤️

👏We thank Arthur for his dedication, wisdom and unwavering spirit. We are blessed to walk alongside him and grateful for all he has given to the people of Cowra.

💙 Another beautiful example of Dubbo schools making a difference!

Here is Vincentian Janine Kearney with students from st St Laurence's Catholic Primary School Dubbo proudly sharing their donation of toasters, kettles and sandwich presses.

The students raised the money themselves, with the school then purchasing these much-needed items for people doing it tough – such a wonderful act of generosity at such a young age ✨

As Religious Education Coordinator, Katrina shared, “the children were very excited to be able to help support those in need.”

Thank you to everyone involved – it’s wonderful to see leadership and young people’s passion for social justice come together to make a real difference in the community!

VINNIES VAN COMMUNITY HUB BBQ:
A great collaborative day was held this week at Robertson Park in Orange. Coast & Country Primary Care - Health on the Streets (HoTS) and Orange Sky Australia teamed up with Vinnies - Vinnies Van to provide free nurse-led health clinic and laundry service while grabbing a hamburger and a hot drink alongside genuine connection and conversation.

These services came together to support local community members experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity and hardship by providing compassionate connection, and access to essential services.

The event was open to anyone and over 2 hours, 48 people were able to fill their belly's, share their stories and warm themselves while sitting in the winter sun right in the centre of the Orange CBD.

Pictured here is Christine with staff at St John's Primary School, Dubbo. We've been inspired by their amazing efforts packing hampers for people in need – including those experiencing homelessness, single households, and families doing it tough 💙
