Meet Chelsea Anderson. She has been a midwife in Far West NSW for over 15 years and is just one face of many midwives supporting women and babies in the most remote part of NSW. To date, TFF has supported with equipment, training and ultrasound care for women from marginalised communities.
“TFF has allowed our rural and remote midwives the opportunities to access vital education and resources to support local women and families to stay as close to home for as long as possible.”

A reminder to come join us on Saturday 27 June for our TFF Rugby Day at Emus Rugby Club, Orange.

Thank you so much for everyone who attended and supported the luncheon that some very kind midwives hosted for TFF on Saturday 9 May at the Riverine Club in Wagga Wagga, NSW!

Today we celebrate Torie on what would have been her 40th birthday. We remember the incredible mother, daughter, wife, sister, friend and midwife that she was. We hope she is proud of the work we’re doing to improve the care for mothers and babies in regional NSW and the legacy we are building in her name. She loved a nice champagne, so we’re raising a glass to acknowledge her on her birthday today.

Today I had the privilege to sit on a panel at the NSW Parliamentary hearing into fertility support across regional NSW. We were able to share that we believe there’s significant opportunity if we invest in our regional midwives already caring for families, we can improve continuity of care and ensure postcode is less of a determining factor to fertility outcomes in NSW.
