Join us as we walk to remember our babies with Bears Of Hope Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Australia on Sunday 25 October. Walk with us, bring your family and say your babies name.

Tonight, we light a candle for the little ones who will forever be part of us.

For the babies we held, the babies we longed to hold, and the precious lives that changed our world in ways words can never explain.

At 7pm, we invite families to light a candle and join our Wave of Light, connecting hearts across the world and reminding every family that they are not alone.

Tag us in your candle photos and videos so we can share your light and bring our community together in love.

One little flame, a lifetime of love. 🤍🕯

Tomorrow, we join together in a wave of light, remembering the precious babies gone too soon, whose love and light will forever remain in our hearts. ✨

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our candle-making workshop. Thank you for sharing your babies’ memories with us and helping create such a special space of love and remembrance. 🤍 And a big thank you to The Coven Bx | Candle Cafe Bathurst for another wonderful event!

Tomorrow evening, at 7pm, we invite you to light a candle for your precious baby and tag us in your photos and posts so we can share in this beautiful moment of remembrance together. 🕯️

LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER

Join us in getting creative and reflective at our candle making catch up on Sunday 11 October at The Coven, Bathurst.

Create, connect and take your candle home to light at 7pm with families across the world taking part in Wave of Light on Thursday 15 October.

When registering, share your baby’s name and we’ll create a personalised sticker for your candle.

To ensure you sticker is created, register before 5pm Tuesday 6 October.

Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month

Today marks the beginning of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. For the next 31 days, we hold space for the families who have experienced the devastating loss of a pregnancy, baby or infant.

This month is about breaking the silence, normalising these painful conversations and letting grieving parents know: You are not alone. 💗💙

MAKE A CANDLE FOR YOUR BABY

There’s something special about slowing down, creating and taking time to make a candle. Especially alongside people who are together for the same reason.

Join us on Sunday 11 October to create and make candles as part of Baby Loss Awareness Week, at The Coven Bx | Candle Cafe Bathurst

The session runs over a few hours where you will have the opportunity to create a personalised candle for you and your baby. Choose the scent, colour and style, then label it with your baby’s name in preparation for Wave of Light on Thursday 15 October.
 A little light for the baby you carry in your heart.

This event is free to join, with catering and candle making provided. Please RSVP as spaces are limited, head to the link in our bio for tickets.

Have you heard of ‘Wave of Light’?

It’s an international event held every year on 15 October to remember the babies who have died during pregnancy, stillbirth or infancy.

People all over the world light their candles at their local time of 7pm and a ‘wave of light’ continues across the globe.

In preparation for this event, we are holding a candle making workshop for bereaved families on Sunday 11 October in Bathurst.

Please join us in remembering your babies this October.

A little reminder that our Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Group is happening this Sunday, and we’d love to see you there.

If you’ve experienced the loss of a pregnancy, baby or infant — whether recently or years ago — you’re welcome. Our committee members with first hand experience of baby loss will be there to chat, listen and understand what it’s really like.

No pressure to talk or share. Just a safe space with people who understand.

🤍 A BIG WIN FOR OUR COMMUNITY 🤍

We are incredibly excited to share that we have been awarded $12,061 through the Orange Ex-Services Club ClubGRANTS program!

This funding is going to make a real difference to women and their families across the Orange area who experience the heartbreak of pregnancy loss.

With this funding, we’ll be able to create and provide memory boxes and support packs for women at the time of their loss.

These boxes will include things like:
🤍 Helpful and easy to understand pregnancy loss information
🤍 Keepsakes to create and hold onto memories of their baby
🤍 A journal to write, reflect and process their grief
🤍 Self care items, because mum needs care too
🤍 Something for Dad and other living children

A huge thank you to Orange Ex-Services Club for your incredibly generous support of our work. Your contribution will help us provide comfort and connection to women and families during one of the hardest moments they may ever face.

And a very special mention to our Vice Chairperson, Jess, who put so much time, energy and heart into creating this grant opportunity and helping bring this funding to life 🫶
