π Oran Park High School P&C β 2025 Highlights! π
As the year comes to a close, we wanted to celebrate some of the amazing ways the P&C has supported our students and school community throughout 2025:
πΊ Community Building Partnership Grant Success
Thanks to a successful $20,505 grant, we were able to provide 11 new aluminium seating options around the school, giving approximately 120 students comfortable spaces to gather, relax, and connect.
πΏ Boodjury Ngura Learning Circle Opening
Throughout the year, we were proud to attend the opening of the Boodjury Ngura Learning Circle, a wonderful new space for learning and community connection.
β¨ Year 12 Formal
We were delighted to donate balloons and cookies to help make the Year 12 formal a memorable celebration for our seniors.
π Inspiring Presentations at P&C Meetings
Over the year, weβve had the pleasure of hearing from some amazing staff:
Jason Parkes, Head Teacher Teaching & Learning, shared insights about the HPGE program and its positive impact on students.
Omar Sabih, Head Teacher Wellbeing, highlighted the initiatives and programs the Wellbeing Unit has implemented to support student health and happiness.
π A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to our school community this year β together, weβve made Oran Park High School an even better place to learn, grow, and thrive! π
We are looking for more members for 2026. If you think you would like to contribute to helping the students at OPHS through the P&C then please reach out. Our meetings are held on weeks 4 and 8 during the school term and only go for approximately an hour.
