Just a friendly reminder that we will be trialling a new system to ensure that our morning runs a little smoother at our June Swap 🌼

When you arrive, please put your name on the sheet and I will give you a numbered ticket 🎟️
Then pop your items together on the table, grab a coffee and have a chat! ☕️

At 10:40am I will be randomly calling out 5 tickets at a time. When your number is called you will be able to select x1 item, numbers will continue to be called out until everyone has all chosen x1 item.
This process will continue in 3 “rounds” until everyone has chosen their 3 new items 🧺

If you you could kindly rsvp to the facebook event then that will give me an idea of numbers to expect 😊

I do not want our swaps to feel formal, but as we continue to grow, it definitely needs a little more structure - I promise that our morning will still have a relaxed and welcoming vibe ✨

You are welcome to bring a picnic rug or camp chair if you like

🧺 Bring your 3 items to swap (you might also like to
bring a basket and a picnic rug)
☕️ Coffee + drinks will be available to be purchased at the bar

I am excited to try the new system next week, it will help the swap itself run more smoothly ✨

To ensure that our swaps run more smoothly, at our June swap we will be trialling a new system (I promise our mornings will still have a welcoming and relaxed vibe ✨)

We have had so many new followers on both of our Facebook and Instagram, so I thought I would reintroduce myself!

I’m Bel 👋🏼 mum to 5 year old Aura. You will see her at most of our swaps, she enjoys “helping” me host, she is such a little social butterfly 🦋

I had seen Homemakers Swaps on social media and LOVED the idea behind them. I searched and searched but I could not find anything like that locally

I am not normally one to step outside of my comfort zone, but since turning 40 last year, I have really learnt to trust my intuition and it felt like the right thing to create a space like this. I thought that if I am wanting to meet like minded women and grow our community, surely other women (of all ages) would be wanting this too ✨

After moving back up to the Mid North Coast 4 years ago, I know how hard it can be to start again and not know many people. I thought a Homemakers Swap would be a great place to mingle and connect with more people (I only knew 2 people that were coming to our first swap! I met everyone else on the day!)

We have had 6 swaps so far and our May Swap was by far our biggest (which I was not expecting it to be so busy, but it was a very heartwarming surprise!)

Another layer to our swaps is that I hope it might encourage you to restart that hobby you use to enjoy, or even maybe start something new that you have always wanted to try
My Pinterest 📌 is full of lots of ideas that I would love to try one day (everything from baking, craft, gardening and everything in between, so many fun projects and ideas that I want to try!)

Prior to our very first swap, I had never been to one before and was not too sure what to expect. Our mornings have a very relaxed style and please don’t ever put any pressure on yourself for your items to be “perfect”
The whole intention behind our swaps is to make new friends and grow our community. The fact that we get to take new goodies home with us is a bonus 🌟

I really enjoy planning and hosting our swaps and I love seeing it all unfold and continue to grow

We had such a great morning at our May Swap - look at all of these amazing items!! 😍

I don’t know how many times I had to try to make more space on the table before we improvised and added the stools for extra space

It was lovely to see SO many new faces!
I am still blown away by how many people attended yesterday, our biggest swap yet!🥹🩷

A special thank you to all of our lovely regulars who tell me how much they look forward to our little swaps each month 🥰

Thank you so much to everybody that attended our May Swap this morning, it was such a great morning! 🧺

This was our 6th swap and it was definitely our biggest turn out yet! I honestly cannot believe how many people were there! 🥹
( I will definitely be bringing both of the trestle tables to future swaps 😅 )

It was so lovely to meet so many new faces, I love watching our little community continue to grow 🫶🏼

Keep an eye out on our socials over the coming days, I will be putting some polls up and asking some questions and feedback etc ✨
