This Dental Health Week, the Australian Dental Association’s is focusing on the oral health of young adults aged 18 - 25 through the ‘My Smile’ campaign.
This stage of life can be full of change and stress for young people whether it's moving out, studying or starting work and taking care of their own health.
Sometimes dental check-ups get pushed aside and many put off going to the dentist. This year's campaign is stressing the importance of seeing a dentist before a small problem turns into a big one!
Here's some simple oral health tips to keep your smile healthy:
✔️ Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste
✔️ Clean between your teeth every day
✔️ Limit sugary drinks and snacks
✔️ See your dentist regularly, not just when there’s a problem
🦷 Did you know that Bellarine Community Health run low-cost public dental services from their site at Point Lonsdale?

This International Men’s Health Week, we’re encouraging young men and boys to check in with themselves and each other. 💚

Looking after your mental health is just as important as looking after your physical health and reaching out for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

To the parents, carers, teachers, coaches, friends, and mentors supporting young people aged 12–25, thank you for helping create safe spaces where young people feel heard, supported, and connected.
