"While I was in treatment, golf was one of the only things I could still do with Dad.” 💙

At just 14 years old, Ben had one big wish:
“To have the ultimate golfing experience with my family.”

When brain tumour treatment forced Ben to step away from so many of the things he loved, golf became more than just a game. It became a way to spend precious time with his dad, a chance to feel normal again, and something to look forward to on the toughest days.

So, for Ben’s wish, he and his family headed off for the ultimate golfing getaway at the incredible Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club, where Ben and his dad played some of Australia’s most iconic courses, enjoyed private coaching, and soaked up every moment together as a family. ⛳️

From teeing off on world-class fairways to relaxing at a Sanctuary Cove Resort, the entire trip was filled with unforgettable moments and generosity that made Ben feel truly special.

His Dad shared afterwards:
“Ben had the time of his life and we were all blown away by the generosity of the wish. The resort was beautiful and the golf courses were superb. Everyone went out of their way to make Ben feel special.”

Now back at school and throwing himself into sports again, Ben is back doing what he loves most, and by the sounds of it, we might all need to keep an eye out for him on the pro golf circuit one day. 👀🏌️‍♂️

Piper-Mae (Pip) lives with cerebral palsy and can’t really move without support.

“She struggles with learning and she’s non-verbal, so she explores the world through touch. Some days she has 70 seizures, but she keeps fighting.” - Amy, mum of 7-year-old Pip.

A wish to go on a holiday and see lots of animals on land and sea gave Piper-Mae a break from illness and a moment of pure joy.

Give before 30 June and help make more wishes come true - makeawish.org.au/donate 💫
