Retracing the footsteps of Australia’s iconic rainforest jungle rescue in its 80th anniversary year, in support of Drug ARM reducing the harms of alcohol and other drugs. In support of the valuable work of Drug ARM Australasia in reducing these harms, on the 9th of September 2017 Harold Peacock is taking on Australia’s iconic rainforest trek in Queensland’s Lamington National Park. He’s retracing

the footsteps of Bernard O’Reilly in this the 80th anniversary year of his heroic bush walk to find the crash site of the Airlines of Australia Stinson aircraft. Five men died from the crash in 1937, however Bernard saved the lives of two others, thereby becoming a national hero with headlines around the world. The trek covers in one day 37 kilometres through steep rainforest jungle climbs and creek crossings. Please support a healthy lifestyle by donating to the outstanding work of Drug ARM today.
