It’s the beginning of Reconciliation Week 🖤❤️💛 We would like to acknowledge and pay our respects to the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work today. We stand in solidarity with all First Nations people.
Reconciliation is not a single day or decision, it’s a continued journey. One where we honour the past, listen deeply in the present, and build better futures together.

The theme for this year’s National Sorry Day is From Sorry to Action, a reminder that meaningful change comes through listening, learning and taking action together.

At headspace Nundah, we recognise the importance of truth-telling, healing and creating spaces where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, families and communities feel heard, respected and connected.

We encourage our community to take a moment to reflect on National Sorry Day on 26 May and consider how we can all continue moving from words into action.

Happy Harmony Week! 🧡
Harmony Week is the national celebration that recognises Australia’s cultural diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.

As Australians, we have far more in common than we do differences.
Harmony Week is our annual opportunity to acknowledge that what we have built and continue to build is a dynamic, democratic nation and one of the world’s most successful multicultural societies.

It’s about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, from the Traditional Custodians of this land to our most recent arrivals! This year, Harmony Week runs from 16–22 March 2026, and includes Harmony Day on Saturday 21 March, which is also the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

To show your support, you can choose to wear something orange this week the official colour of Harmony Week to show your support for cultural diversity and an inclusive Australia.

To learn more about Harmony Week and how you can get involved, head to 👉🏼 www.harmony.gov.au
