Broken Creek Connect (BCC) is excited to share more details about our upcoming Big Community Night Out on Friday 18 September in Newman Square, Numurkah!!

Join us for a FREE family-friendly community event, with live performances by The Murks, Toby Brooks Music, Numurkah Ukulele Club and Numurkah Linedancers 🎶 There will also be a free BBQ, with donations welcomed to support BCC projects 💙

Supported by a grant, this event is focused on rural mental wellbeing, resilience and recovery, particularly for those impacted by the grassfires in January 2026. We are therefore thrilled to be supported by CFA, Numurkah Community Learning Centre Inc and Primary Care Connect too ❤️❤️

In a couple of week’s time we will be doing a special ukulele workshop with Lucy Wise Music to work on skill development and song arrangements. Two years ago Lucy performed The GRAIN Store Nathalia and offered a workshop which a number of our members attended. Lucy is performing in the area again and we jumped at the chance to have Lucy do some music mentoring with our club.
Lucy is back at the Grainstore on August 21st for a special solo concert - tickets via Humanitix or direct at the Grainstore.

Lots of fun last night The Olde Creamery for a Christmas in July! Bit of a different one for us to be outside on a winter evening but lots of warm jackets plus a few sparkles to keep the spirits up (or maybe that was the mulled wine). 🎄🎉🎶

We had such a great time during our last gig at The Olde Creamery and can't wait to do it all again July 25th! 🎶🎵🌸🎄

We’ve got the mulled wine warming, the coffee machine ready to roll, hot chocolate bombs on standby and plenty of good old Yule logs… well, sausages on the BBQ at least. 🌭🔥☕

So dust off your Christmas spirit, drag the family out of hibernation and join us for a cosy winter evening on the farm.
