🎉 So proud to deliver an $18,400 grant under the Albanese Labor Government’s Grassroots Multicultural program for the South Coast Tibetan Community to continue running its Saturday Language School locally.
Our region is enhanced by our wonderful multicultural community and I’ll always support projects that foster inclusion, connection and harmony.
Thank you to the wonderful South Coast Tibetan Community for your dedication and commitment to helping children retain and learn their Tibetan cultural traditions, and for making our region a better place to live, work and play. 💛

Today marks one week since our beloved Rangzen Loga left this world — a true son of Tibet, whose courage and sacrifice for the cause of Tibet’s freedom will forever remain etched in our hearts.

To honor his memory, the South Coast Tibetan Community gathered together in prayer, lighting butter lamps as a symbol of the eternal light he has left behind — a light that continues to guide our path toward freedom and justice for Tibet. Monks and community members joined in prayer, offering their devotion and gratitude for a life given selflessly to a cause greater than himself.

Rangzen Loga, your sacrifice will never be forgotten. Your spirit lives on in every prayer flag that flutters, every butter lamp that is lit, and every Tibetan heart that continues to carry the dream of a free Tibet.
