🎭💛 INTRODUCING EXPRESS! SING. DANCE. PERFORM. 🎤✨

Something NEW is coming to JHQ next Thursday, and we’re so excited to finally bring this one to life!

EXPRESS is our brand new 60-minute performance class combining singing, dancing and stage presence into one exciting experience!

Love being on stage? Miss performing? Or maybe you’ve always wanted to give it a go but haven’t quite found the confidence?

This one’s for YOU! 💛

From learning choreography and vocal performance to bringing it all together on stage, EXPRESS is about developing your skills, finding your confidence and discovering your own performance style.

No auditions. No competitions. Just creativity, confidence and a whole lot of personality! 🎭

Our feel-good, beginner-friendly movement class! Perfect for anyone wanting to dance, have fun and get moving.

Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to get moving! Easy to follow choreography, great music and plenty of laughs. No dance experience needed, just come as you are and enjoy yourself!

🔥 7:00 PM | DANCE LAB
For our intermediate to advanced movers who love a little challenge! Faster paced, more intricate choreography and plenty of energy. A chance to build your skills, confidence and reconnect with your love of dance, without the pressure!

Well, look who FINALLY joined us on the dance floor! 👀💃😂

Our very own SJ! The structure to my creative chaos, the calm behind the madness and the woman who somehow manages to keep JHQ running while I’m off doing… whatever it is I do. 🤣💜

Naturally, I couldn’t resist being a little cheeky and telling her to show everyone how it’s done.

And then, in true Brock fashion, I went the WRONG WAY. 💀😂

At that point, I basically retired from teaching and left the class to it. And would you look at that… THEY DID MAGNIFICENTLY WITHOUT ME! 😂👏

All jokes aside, it was so lovely having my dance partner back beside me. SJ does so much incredible work behind the scenes at JHQ, helping turn all my wild ideas into something that actually functions. She’s an absolute powerhouse, and I’m so grateful for everything she brings to our little community. 💜

And a massive shoutout to our MoveIt crew for absolutely smashing it last night! Clearly, you don’t need me anymore. I’ll just stick to pressing play. 🤣

THIS is what Move It is all about. Having a laugh, getting involved, making mistakes and enjoying every second of it. 💃✨

Wednesday ’s energy was EVERYTHING! 🙌🔥

For anyone who’s danced before and misses that feeling of getting lost in the music, THIS is your space! 💜

DanceLab is our high energy class for those who love picking up faster choreography, challenging themselves and building on their skills, without the pressure of competition or perfection.

Whether you danced growing up, haven’t stepped into a studio in years or simply want somewhere to move, grow and feel confident again, we’ve got you!

Because sometimes we get so caught up in getting the steps right that we forget why we started dancing in the first place.

BECAUSE IT FEELS GOOD! ✨

We’re bringing back the fun, the confidence, the connection and that incredible feeling of dancing just because you LOVE IT.

We’re on tonight at the School of Arts Annex in Nowra and we’d love to see some new faces come along!

🧡 5:30pm Move It
Beginner friendly, good tunes, good energy and absolutely no pressure. Just come along, move your body and have some fun.

🔥 7:00pm Dance Lab
For our intermediate to experienced dancers who want to learn choreography, challenge themselves and have a good boogie.

Classes are just $15 each and everyone is welcome 🫶

Come on your own, bring a friend or drag someone along who needs a midweek dance!

Okay, we can’t technically promise babysitting 😂 but with the school holidays here, it’s a pretty good time for the kids to come move, create and burn some energy with us… and for you to enjoy a class-sized moment of peace. 🙌

While we’re still at the Annex waiting for our forever home, you can become a JHQ Founder for $120 — giving you 10 classes for just $12 each.

Once you’ve purchased your Founders Pass, you’ll also unlock our $15 Founder casual class rate moving forward.

When we move into our new home, standard community pricing will become:

✨ $25 casual
✨ $200 for a standard 10-Class Pass ($20/class)

So Founders is our little thank-you to the people getting behind JHQ while we’re building from the beginning.

We’ve also been VERY busy behind the scenes developing a whole stack of new JHQ programs and classes — you’ll spot some of them in the video 👀 — ready to roll out as we move into our new home.

What an awesome night working on Fine China — Chris Brown 🎶

Something a little different for us this week, bringing in more of a hip-hop feel — and absolutely loving this combination. 🔥

That’s what we love about DanceLab. Different styles, different challenges and a space to play with movement, performance and choreography while still having a bloody good time doing it. 🙌

And the energy in the room last night was 👌
