ANZAC Day 2026, April 25 • Community Invitation

Prima Nota Inc. is honoured to take part in ANZAC Day commemorations in Adelaide and extends sincere respect to the organisers.

Our participation will take place within the Eastern European group- including the Dawn Service and March.
A wreath will be laid as part of Prima Nota’s coordinated participation in the commemorations.

We invite members of the Russian-speaking community to join us in remembrance.

This includes:
• Russian Anzacs and their descendants
• descendants of those who served in World War II
• Russian-speaking individuals and families with roots in the former Russian Empire and the Soviet Union, connected to the Allied side, including in support of Australia

Participation in ANZAC Day ceremonies is strictly regulated and conducted with great respect and discipline.

Prima Nota coordinates participation for the Russian-speaking community.
Joining requires prior arrangement- independent participation within this group is not possible.

We are also preparing a commemorative video series and invite families to share stories, photos, and memories.

🎉 Folk Pancake Festival Maslenitsa SA 2026 – Community Impact

On 15 February, we welcomed approximately 1,500 attendees to Linde Reserve for South Australia’s largest Slavic pancake celebration.

This year’s festival brought together:

• 15 independent vendors
• 7 local creatives
• 10 multicultural performance groups
• Community partners including Diabetes SA
• 25 dedicated volunteers

Beyond the park, the celebration reached even further:

• 2,500 Facebook event responses
• 97,231 Facebook views
• 83% of engagement from new audiences

Maslenitsa SA 2026 was delivered through 4,320 volunteer hours and strong community collaboration.

Today, Australia observes a National Day of Mourning to honour the victims of the Bondi Beach terrorist attack.

The day has been formally recognised to allow communities across the country to pause, reflect, and remember those who lost their lives, and to stand in solidarity with their families and all those affected.

Prima Nota acknowledges this day of mourning and invites our community to observe it in a way that feels respectful and meaningful to them.

WOMEN OF PRIMA NOTA

Meet Anna 🌸

Anna is currently studying computer programming at Flinders University, while working to support herself. On Saturdays, she volunteers as a junior art teacher at the Lomonosov Russian School.

In her free time, Anna is an artist at heart. She hand-paints wooden and bamboo items using traditional Khokhloma techniques, keeping folk art alive through practice, patience, and care.

Together with her partner, Anna runs a small mobile coffee stall called . They travel to events and brew coffee on site, and can often be found at the Stirling Market.

LoveChild is also one of Prima Nota’s official partner vendors for 2026.

Anna was also featured as a Maslenitsa 2025 volunteer in the latest MCCSA Community Voices edition highlighting Prima Nota and its leadership.

During Prima Nota’s participation at the Multicultural Festival SA 2025, Anna was one of our outstanding face painting volunteers, bringing joy to dozens of children attending the festival.

The costume and the headdress worn by Anna were kindly provided by Cocoshnick in Australia for the cultural collaboration featured at the Norwood Christmas Pageant 2025.

Anna represents a new generation of women in our community- balancing study, creativity, volunteering, and small business, while staying deeply connected to culture.
