Well....we've been busy lately.

The next time you wander into the Northcliffe Men's Shed, bring your sunglasses! We've invested some coin to refurbish the Shed lighting to LED, so now we can see what we're doing (always useful!!) and, in a cost-efficient way. And a big shout out to Northcliffe Electrical for the supply and installation (gotta luv supporting local business!!).

We've also had a working bee to put a verandah over the sea container, to improve its longevity.

One project that the lads were ticking away on, was creating 20 bee hotel kits for kids (young and old alike), for the Southern Forests Community Landcare 'Green Spaces Counter the Blues' project. Local folks who love bee's (well, they're cute, and then, there's that pollination bit - kind of important!!) It was nice to get some positive feedback on our humble efforts.

And lastly, today we inaugurated Tom Pike (currently our Treasurer) as a Life Member of the Northcliffe Men's Shed, due to his long-term commitment to the Shed, and fellow Shedders. To honour (and surprise) Tom, we presented him with his Life Membership this afternoon. We fired up the BBQ, and a good time was had by all who acknowledged Tom's contribution.

Vale Glynne Jones

It is with a heavy heart that the Northcliffe Men's Shed mourns the passing of Glynne Jones, an original founder and dedicated stalwart of our local Shed. This picture was taken in November last year, when he and Lenny Dickson were awarded Life Membership of the Northcliffe Men's Shed.

Our sincerest condolences to his family and friends in Northcliffe, and beyond.

Great turn out for the Cherry Festival in Manji on Saturday! 🍒 Big thanks to all who came and supported the Northcliffe Men's Shed. Last day for the Shed this year will be this Saturday. So folks come and have a squiz at what we're up to. Could be a bbq happening too from 11.30am! 🌭🍔
