Help us support The Royal Flying Doctor Service!
Our team has registered for Oceans to Outback, a month-long challenge to raise vital funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Throughout October, we will be either walking, running or riding many hundreds of kilometres (virtually) around Australia!

IT'S AGM TIME!!

VFRS Brigades must hold an AGM each year to cover brigade business and allow the membership to elect the brigade leadership team for the new financial year.

We had a great year and even with work and personal commitments, we all came together for our community, which is at the heart of volunteering - helping out our community when needed.

A big thank you to the outgoing leadership team members and congratulations to the new Leadership Group.

This is the 2026/2027 Leadership Group and their positions which take effect now.

Leadership:

Captain - Scott Rintoul

Apparatus Officer - Graham Patterson

1st Lieutenant - Bronson Bean

2nd Lieutenant - Richard Hall

Secretary - Lucy Patterson

Treasurer - Erica Brown

Training last night was Breathing Apparatus (B.A.) refresher, a simulation shed fire and rescue. The crew donned BA in a smoke filled shed and had to rescue "people" (DFES dummies) from inside. It was a great exercise and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you to Mel Ismail and Brent Allen for coming up a hosting. And thanks again for Somewhere To Go for the delicious catering! Also, a shout out and thank you to all the volunteers who help construct our "fake" room for the exercise!
